Carboxy Gold - a licence to win! Our most successful match pole of the last decade has been given a complete upgrade to incorporate the latest developments in pole technology.

The top three sections have been re-designed in line with the tried and trusted Power-Match-Kit concept of the Xitan Power Poles. A larger diameter A section gives anglers a longer effective pole length.
The male and female joints have been visibly reinforced with woven carbon mat considerably reducing joint wear and edge damage that comes with years of use.
The 6th to 8th sections have been re-designed by optimising the direction of the carbon mat giving the new Carboxy Gold II a little extra stiffness.
Pole weight has been further reduced by moving away from the all-over gold lacquer on the lower sections.

The "old" Carboxys were strong, thoroughbred poles whose reputation stood the test of time. The new Carboxy Gold II will be a seamless continuation of the success story. The single mandrel concept of the former Beryllium poles has been retained, meaning continued high levels of compatibility with top kits, individual sections and accessories. The Gold top kits (i.e. for kits 3/1, power kits 2/1 and cupping kits), are also compatible with the Xitan Power range -(and vise-verse) giving further kit options for Carboxy Gold users.
