Xitan Power Z9 – Sets a new standard for top-end poles
The Xitan Z9 continues as our flagship pole for 2011. The Z9 was a best-seller
amongst top-end poles last year due to its un-matched performance and value.
The pole has now achieved a formidable, and still growing, reputation that has
seen angers switch "brand allegiance" to Browning for the absolute
best in pole design.
The Z9 is purpose designed for modern styles of fishing and was extensively
tested and fine-tuned before release. The pole is very stiff, strong and light
and is the perfect choice for the angler who takes their sport seriously. Extreme
rigidity and absence of "bounce" makes the pole superb for fishing
shallow or with very short lines. Customers have reported using the Z9 under
pressure well beyond its design limits without problem – a testimony to the
quality of the design and manufacture of Browning Poles.
The Z9's performance has been achieved by using the very highest quality carbon
cloth available to us. By incorporating our Nanocarbon technology we have been
able to make the Z9 both very strong and very durable without compromising weight.
The male and female joint areas have a visible woven overwrap to minimise wear
and resist edge damage and add further strength.
The butt sections are strengthened to prevent elbow and spray bar damage and
are finished with a special paint finish to improve shipping in damp conditions.
This complements the microfine sanded Diamond Surface finish on all unpainted
sections. To maintain the pole's superb balance the Z9 is supplied with our
special multi-purpose, light but very strong, Power Match Kits. The Z9 will
easily take 14 solid or 12/20 hollow elastics. The pole packs into the 14.5m
section and is supplied complete with two quality 0.8m mini-extensions that
give a wide variety of fishing lengths.
In line with Browning's "Upgrade Pack" concept, the Z9 is available
in a base 16.4 package, or a totally fishable and very comprehensive 18 metre
package – the longest standard pole available. The Xitan Z9 Power shares
all the standard features found on other poles in the Xitan Z range
